Healthy soil will contain right propotions of three main nutrients, nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) that support healthy plant optimum growth. Applying fertilisers to the soil will enhance the fetrtility of the soil and increase the amount of nutrients needed at any stage of plant growth.
